I'm having some defined misgivings about Iron Sky now. It's looking like it could be Inglorious Basterds pulp, or polished B-movie. From io9:

Blah blah blah, that extra stuff is all well and good -- and I hope to Raptorjeebus that the movie doesn't suck -- but I want to see and hear Renate Richter (as played by Julia Dietze) in action. I can't find any reference to the insignia on her cap, but I'm going to assume it's for the "Schwarze Sonne" division of the SS.

Will we ever get Iron Sky?

I certainly hope so. According to io9, test shooting has begun, and our Space Nazis look like they've been shopping with Kerberos.

Space Nazis are clever

Casting appears to be completed for Iron Sky, and so there's some new promo material to accompany this. Behold Julia Dietze, who will be "Renate Richter" in it. I've no idea who she is -- her curriculum vitae looks all Deutsche -- but she seems easy on the eyes.

I don't see any rank on her, but I think I'd like it to be reichsmarschall or rittmeister just to have three Rs in a row.
