Before I self destruct
The big things are smelly and drive me to drink, so it'll be the little things that will keep me sane.

I can't show you my nuts, so show me you're nuts!
In case you're wondering, Pekin and Bartonville are towns near Peoria, Illinois.
Which explains plenty.

I'm not a fan of Susan Sarandon, but she has good genes. Her daughter, Eva Amurri, looks quite like a refined and evolved Janet Weiss.
Dammit Janet!

70 years in the making
WANT! from Uncrate:
There's aged whiskey, and then there's the Glenlivet 70 Year Old Whiskey (£13,000; roughly $21,000). The second release in Gordon & MacPhail's Generations range, this rare spirit was distilled on February 3, 1940, and comes in a gorgeous tear-shaped, hand-blown crystal decanter, with a silver stopper and base, and a handmade box crafted from Scottish Elm. If you want some, you'd best hurry — only 100 bottles were made.

Beware the Ides of March! If you're not Julius Caesar, that probably doesn't mean much to you.
Meanwhile, one of these things is not like the others, and that's perfectly OK, for she is also pretty and sweet, although dressed like a bunny. Those ears will make her a little easier to hunt down in a crowd.

In a similar vein...
Three words: Bitch. Ass. Ness.
Little punk thought he'd start some shit, but big man finished that shit. To every peacenik and pacifist who is under the misapprehension that violence doesn't solve anything: Bullshit; violence solves plenty!
Wait for it: 0:18...

Don't fuck with Mother Nature
When you build a sandcastle, there's a point at which you give up digging moats and berms. There's no saving your pail-shaped creation, plus there's ice cream or Arnold Palmer waiting.
But for tsunamis, though, you better be on high ground WAY before that.

Look to the east
From SFGate:
Oakland, whose thriving African American community for decades shaped black identity for the nation, lost nearly a quarter of its black population in the past decade, U.S. Census data shows.Unsurprising. I'm pretty sure I can tell you where many of them went.
Now, Oakland has nearly as many white people as it does African American. It also has nearly as many Latinos.
The exodus left the city with a net loss of 33,000 African American residents and made Oakland one of the few big California cities to decline in size.
