Comic Con starts today in lovely San Diego, and I'm unfortunately nowhere near it. Movies and TV shows do sneak previews and related junkets, and their stars do panels and sign autographs. Out on the main floor, comic, cartoon, anime, and toy companies will have their promo booths going, usually with free and sometimes interesting schwag to collect and merchandise to purchase.Plus, there's the fanatic fandom, sometimes in costume. Often attempted, but not often accomplished: Powergirl.
