Strut that ass

An entry with Sophie Turner would have been the preferred follow-up to this entry with auto-tuned "Strut That Ass," so apologies for the discontinuity.

Sophie's amazing ass was found on Hollywood Tuna.

Epic Knife

Seriously, that's Gerber's name for it; from Uncrate:
If you're stuck carrying just one knife on your next outdoorsy adventure, the Gerber Epic Knife ($30) wouldn't be a bad choice. This versatile chrome-molybdenum stainless steel blade features a textured nylon handle, a serrated edge, a blunt tip, an integrated bottle opener, and a locking sheath that also sports a reversible pocket clip so you can carry it on right or left side — which is really handy if your other hand is busy holding a beer or fighting off a hungry grizzly bear.

Wait. What?

The problem with Hollywood

From io9:
Reports are coming out that Warner Bros really wanted Angelina Jolie to play the female lead alongside Robert Downey, Jr. in Alfonso Cuarón's sci-fi two-hander [Gravity]. They reportedly went back to her with a much bigger offer after she initially passed and after they spent months testing a bunch of actresses, with Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively emerging as the reported main contenders. But Jolie said no again. Here's why this might (and it's a somewhat big "might") matter - this could mean the movie's 80 million dollar budget is in jeopardy if Warner Bros doesn't think another actress can bring in a big enough audience to make the movie a risk worth taking.
Dear Hollywood: Fuck Angelina Jolie.

No, not like your name is Brad Pitt, Billy Bob Thornton, Jenny Shimizu, or Jonny Lee Miller. I mean that you don't need her or any other "name" if a movie is good enough. So, fuck your fear while we're at it.

If the role calls for a loopy, psychopathic action chick, then yeah, maybe AJ is who you want. If not -- and I don't know what Cuaron is specifically looking for -- keep it moving and find the right actress. Simple, right?

But for all the risks that Hollywood does take, especially when it comes to star vehicles, they need to stop wondering why consumers pirate their products; most of it isn't worth paying for.

Breakfast Granola for 9/1/10

FMD Crankmonkey unearths rare ore, but not so rare that she isn't in the Ore Archives. Though her identity remains unknown, her shapely visage is a balm upon the soul.

And she has big boobs.

The Twelfth Decree of Simmslam

In acknowledgment of 50 Cent's wisdom --
If you a stripper and you have a low self esteem Its probably because your fat and ugly. I suggest you kill yourself

I fully approve of the fat women's doing the suicidesz.

Suggestion: if you watch this, turn off the sound. The monkeyass youtuber used what I'm going to guess is Sarah Brightman, singing an opera aria I don't recognize.

Much preferred: something with Wendy Combattente's voice -- which is pretty cute -- or downtempo R&B to match the slow-mo of maneuvering boobs to camera. Maybe even something classical if he's fixed on not-modern; I think Moonlight Sonata might've done well.

A post worth reading on Lifehacker: Top 10 External Hard Drive Tricks.

One tip I think might be worthwhile, but isn't mentioned: a drive dock for using older/smaller/assorted drives so you don't have to buy enclosures for them all.
