Breakfast Granola for 3/10/11

Looks like Gawker sites are once again good for something. Their navigation is still as clunky as the afterbirth of a Daewoo and a Dodge, but it's a good thing they make enough of it eyecatching.

Today's forecast

Lots of Sad Panda, apparently.

Coming To America?

I hope so:

The key to a good self portrait is...

...to look at the lens. Doesn't always happen, but then I hardly ever care on Humpday.

The Old Boy in the Black Hat

Ted Gundy is a WW2 vet and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. His Springfield 1903A4 was good out to 300 yards, and so is he at age 80. With some range time with the Army Marksman Unit and their purpose-built Remington 700, he's also good out to 1000.

Mardi Gras is behind us, same as its cousin Carnival, or "Farewell to the Flesh."

But why? We can turn this Ash Wednesday into an Ass Wednesday with the help of Reef. Yay Reef!

100th Anniversary of International Women's Day

A tribute to the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, courtesy of Flight of the Conchords.

Speaking of sweet, delicious WIN...

...here's more Sophie Turner and her ridiculous culo.

Booty Appreciation Day

Seems I was onto something without realizing it; Coco Austin has declared today "Booty Appreciation Day."

From her Twitter.

Breakfast Granola for 3/7/11

And just like that, foul weather returns. Elsewhere, the weather is peachy, and certainly fair enough for Sophie Turner to be out in the evening air bare-shouldered.

WARNING: lots of talking and other verbal nonsense, so audio is NOT required.

Verily, I swear to you, I would hit that ass like the Fist of Mars.

Getting warmer

Is it spring yet? No, but the weather is nice enough for it today. Better enjoy it while it lasts.

Breakfast Granola for 3/4/11

NEWSFLASH: Gawker sites have actually improved a bit, so here's some other rant: Blade Runner is quite possibly the best science fiction movie of all time, but of course no childhood memory is safe from dabbling and ruination by Hollywood.

Read the io9 interview if you want, but the express take is a quote from Kosove:
First of all, we're paying for everything, but second of all — and this a way of answering maybe partially the concerns of your fans — this may work, or it may not work. We may make this movie, but in truth it may never get made.
Translation: "First, it's our money, and we're angling to use it to make more money. Second, we'll do what we want, including make fans nervous all day by simply trading upon the Blade Runner name."

Thus, it is with a hearty FUCK YOU that I say, "Fuck you, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, and Bud Yorkin. Fuck you with Replicant cock!"

Sexy no jutsu!

Coco Austin practicing her ninjutsu, found on her twitter.

Also made in Ireland

The previous Rubberbandits video has been made "private" -- whatever that means -- so FMD Jack Naples has fished out this VERY Irish remix with Gaelic lyrics, pipes, and big-legged Irish Riverdance babes.

Three's Company was based on the British comedy Man About the House, so it would only be fitting to have yet another remake set back in Britain.

I propose two castmates right here: Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh.

EPIC. AND. WIN.
